The Big Lie Lives On….

A Democrat once said:

“We Choose Truth Over Facts”

Winlock, WA vs. Winlock, OR.

Winlock Washington home to the largest egg in the world…

“If you were to do a search for the largest egg in the world you get Winlock Washingtons brand of truth….

On the pedestal is written, “World’s Largest EGG.” this is not true and hasn’t been for years….

The facts of a matter is better than any “Democrat Truth” every day…..

Let me introduce you to some actual facts:

When Karens Lie….It’s the Business model in America that will lose…

Cracker Barrel CEO Julie Masino says “everyone loves the changes” — girlbossing her way through a 12% drop today and a 45% slide since she took over. 📉 losing over $200 million in market value…

This is what a mentally deranged “Karen” will say… Sorta like Winlock Egg Days saying the city has the “Worlds Largest Egg”…It isn’t… not even close…..

Truth vs Lies

Facts……

#1 The Vegreville egg

This egg is the largest man-made egg in the known world…31 ft  long and three and a half story high, weighing in at a whopping 2.5 tons (5,512 lb)

#2 The Mentone Egg

in Mentone, Indiana, is made of concrete, weighs 3,000 pounds, and is about 10 feet high. #3 Winlock, egg

located south of Tacoma, is twelve feet long and weighs 1,200 pounds. It sits on a pedestal on a ten-foot steel pole in the wide, grassy median running through the center of town. On the pedestal is written, “World’s Largest EGG.”

Winlock seems to be synonymous with ghost towns.

This is Winlock’s Truth, a perspective built on falsehoods wrapped in a haze of deception, and it’s bound to worsen if this small community continues to cling solely to the past. .

There is no Future in This Ghost town…

Winlock’s giant egg is called “The World’s Largest Egg” mainly due to its historical local significance,

promotional pride in the egg day parade, and a 1989 Ripley’s Believe It or Not designation, even though larger egg sculptures exist elsewhere.

Historical and Local Pride

If you like parades, well this is all they offer each year here.

Winlock, Washington, was once the second largest egg-producing town in the United States until the 1950s and earned a strong reputation for its poultry industry.
The giant egg was first created in 1923 by local boosters to celebrate the opening of the Pacific Highway and showcase the town’s identity as a major egg producer. Over time, it became a symbol of the town’s heritage and a point of local pride .

The Origin of the “World’s Largest Egg” Claim

The current giant egg, weighing about 1,200 pounds and measuring 12 feet long, was officially dubbed the “World’s Largest Egg” by Ripley’s Believe It or Not in 1989.

This title helped brand Winlock and attract visitors, despite other egg sculptures being larger elsewhere .

Why It’s Not Actually the Largest

There are larger egg sculptures in the world, such as the Pysanka egg in Canada, which stands over 31 feet tall, and the gigantic concrete Mentone egg in Indiana, weighing about 3,000 pounds and measuring approximately 10 feet high .
Winlock’s egg is much smaller and lighter by comparison, meaning the claim does not stand up to actual size comparisons.

The “Big Egg” as a Cultural Icon

Despite not being literally the biggest, the egg remains a roadside attraction and a center point for Winlock’s annual Egg Day festival.
Over the decades, it has undergone several material upgrades and creative decorations reflecting community spirit, including serving as a 9/11 memorial and featuring local sports logos .

Conclusion

The title “World’s Largest Egg” reflects celebratory marketing, historical significance, and community identity rather than a strict factual claim about size.

It serves as a nostalgic symbol honoring Winlock’s past as a major player in egg production, which is valued more by locals than merely the egg’s physical dimensions.

There’s literally no changing the minds of the locals about the future of this city. All they offer to those who want to move to this tiny ghost town is no business and a parade.
