What kind of parent would let their children watch this show? How far removed and out of touch are the Gaineses to consider this appropriate family entertainment?
They never provided a full response to the criticism of their show Back to the Frontier, except for Chip posting a few passive-aggressive Bible verses on Twitter.
Hopefully they have more to say about this one.
Another reality TV show from Christian couple Chip and Joanna Gaines has drawn attention for prominently featuring an LGBTQ activist as host, a flamboyant crossdressing judge, and an all-LGBTQ roller skating team, highlighting the couple’s continued transition to gay-affirming content.
The Gaineses gained fame through their HGTV series Fixer Upper and built a lifestyle empire before launching the Magnolia Network in 2021. They received widespread criticism last month after creating a reality show, Back to the Frontier, which features a gay couple who adopted a child as one of the show’s three contestants. Now, a new show has put them back in the spotlight.
Beware of this group of college kids that are teaching the youth thru song and their style of worship.
Chip and Joanna are the executive producers of the reality TV show Roller Jam, which debuted last year on their Magnolia Network. Along with overseeing the production, Joanna also served as a judge in the series finale. The show features ten of America’s best roller skating teams in an elimination contest competing to win $150,000.
It also includes significant LGBTQ messaging, leading the prominent gay culture magazine Out to call it “the LGBTQ+ roller skating reality show we never knew we needed.”
The show is hosted by Jordin Sparks, a vocal supporter of the LGBTQ+ community. When she’s not posting half-naked pictures of herself on Instagram, she’s performing at LGBTQ+ pride events, joining campaigns like GLAAD’s #SpiritDay to support LGBTQ youth, and working with the Gay Men’s Chorus of South Florida.

Living The Herschel Way means carrying forward our long-standing mission in a new way. It is how we welcome guests like family.
One of the three judges of the show is Johnny Weir, a former Olympic figure skater and current flamboyant queer LGBTQ activist and cross-dresser. Weir’s attire for the show is striking, as are his effeminate mannerism, and he wears women’s dresses and clothing throughout much of the competition.
Lastly, one of the featured team is ‘Haus of Sk8’ who are an all-black and all-queer skate team.
Group member group member Laron Gigger told Gaye Magazine that “Haus of Sk8 is not just about skating; it’s about breaking barriers, living authentically, and representing the LGBTQ+ community in a way that hasn’t been seen before.”
LoDespite all this, Joanna Gaines was thrilled to produce it, calling it “a dream come true for me” and promoting it as a show “the whole family can watch together.”rem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. Ut elit tellus, luctus nec ullamcorper mattis, pulvinar dapibus leo.
