"Old Lady" Obama socialist sticking to the Hope and No Change platform...

The Old Lady…. A smile might make someone more likable, but research shows it doesn’t make them genuine. My Grandma used to say you can tell the difference between a crook and an honest person in the same way you tell the difference between a crocodile and an alligator. The crocodile and the crook have a toothier grin. I remembered her words recently while reading Facebook posts from the candidate for mayor of Winlock Washington. Back in the Age of Sail, pirates liked to design their own flags. Often, they presented solid black backgrounds with white skulls sewed onto them. The purpose was simple: They were scary. While it seems obvious that the skulls represented death, something else was at work, too. There is something uncanny about a grinning skull. Research conducted by the University of Minnesota in 2017 indicated that big, toothy, V-shaped grins are considered the creepiest. This big smile is the closest approximation to the horrible rictus on your typical skull.

We have reached out to both candidates for coments and niether one have shown any interest in revealing whet they will do for the city of Winlock.

“In response to the silence we will be filling the gap here with past failures”

Current Mayor Brandon Svenson, performing a simple search, yields this result:…

The current mayor of Winlock, Brandon Svenson, has been embroiled in controversy over allegations of inappropriate behavior, residency issues, and political conflict within the city council.
Key Issues:
Residency Allegations: A major point of contention has been the allegation that Mayor Svenson resides outside the city limits, which contradicts legal requirements for the office. He confirmed in a publication that he lives outside Winlock at least part of the time, raising questions about his eligibility to serve as mayor.

Claims of Misconduct: Reports indicate that Svenson has a history of being fired from previous positions due to allegations of inappropriate behavior. This has contributed to a mixed public perception of his leadership and effectiveness.

Political Strife: The mayoral race has been described as contentious, with rival candidates like Jodie Curtis, a “disgruntled council member,” indicating ongoing tensions within the city’s governance. The atmosphere reflects a broader discontent with the current administration and an urgency among candidates to address various local issues.

The candidate known as “Grandma” running for office seems to get overly agitated and defensive when faced with simple questions. Similarly, the previous candidate, nicknamed “Fake America Lunsford,” has apparently shifted her voters to Grandma’s side. Her insistence on private meetings or phone calls only feels unusual for someone aiming for public office and raises concerns about possible corruption even before any votes are cast.

Starting in October, we will be sharing all the information we can, assuming there is anything to report.

The mayor of this city has a choice: let us share his information unedited so the city of Winlock residents can make a clear choice, or the city will hear from the local news outlet,  newspaper formerly known as The Town Crier, is known for her embarrassing antics and lack of credibility.

Her track record of spreading lies still continues today…

November 5th is approaching quickly—who will you choose to lead your city into the next year? Will it be a Democrat or a Republican? Interestingly, both parties have decided to run as independents, which might backfire if they lack a clear platform for business, whether local or regional.

The Mayor vs The Old Lady

On the left, you can see how the sitting mayor of Winlock approaches the “Masked News,”

On the right, you can see Grandma playing the role of a “Karen” as the drama unfolds, taking aim at local and regional businesses simultaneously. She decided to criticize our news about two business models featured in our Business Directory, while refusing to answer any questions on her own page, where we initially approached her. She insists on only speaking to those who call her or meet her on a street corner in front of the newspaper office. This is a public venue, not a Chinese gulag.

Which will you choose?

At the moment It seems the city relies on a discredited news source called The Lewis County News, with Lynette Hoffman as the editor. Her attacks on this city are infamous and have been ongoing for years. We have reported on this since 2018. Here is what The Chronicle, a highly respected newspaper in Lewis County, says about her:

Publisher’s Note: Winlock Editor’s Big Scoop Was a Big Lie | The Daily Chronicle

This is not the first time reporting by the Lewis County News has been called into question. A December 2024 copy of the Lewis County News contains a report critical of the city’s budget decisions, specifically highlighting debt incurred over two years. The report also mentioned what it called “unforeseen” legal fees from a lawsuit against city residents, calling the city’s appeal of the loss “deliberate”.
The controversy highlights a tense relationship between Winlock city leadership and a local publication, with the mayor publicly challenging the reporter’s integrity and the paper’s journalistic standards.

Letter to the editor: Honest reporting is appreciated | The Daily Chronicle

Searching AI  reponses are even worse:

Here is what is known about the mayoral situation in Winlock:
– Current Mayor: Brandon Svenson serves as the Mayor of Winlock.
– No upcoming election: There is no mayoral race currently planned for 2025. While results for mayoral elections in other Washington cities like Seattle have been reported, none are available for Winlock.
– Limited online information: Public information on the platforms of Winlock’s elected officials is scarce, likely causing confusion. Local news outlets, such as The Daily Chronicle, tend to focus more on county-level politics in Lewis County rather than city-level races in Winlock.

Earlier...

It seems like only 11 socialists live in the city of Winlock, but that is bound to change if a local “Karen” becomes mayor.

At least Brandon supports business, while the others seem to have their own agendas.

Great News for the city of Winlock

the Fake America is out of the race…

(NOTE: We have contacted every candidate in one way or another even offering the City of Winlock mayor Brandon Svenson our Facebook page they never responded, they really should reach out)

America Lunsford for Winlock Mayor Aug 1st 2025

Friends, unfortunately I have to announce that due to unexpected personal circumstances, I am suspending my campaign for Winlock mayor. Thank you to those who supported me.

I know the timing, just before the primary, is not ideal, but sometimes life happens on a schedule you can’t anticipate.

I endorse Victoria Marincin, and if I end up winning I would support a write-in campaign for her in the general. This city needs change, desperately, and Victoria seems like a person who could bring it.

“She will still be involved. Is she going to collaborate with Victoria Maricin to establish demonrats influence in this rural city?”

The socialist is out, and questions are being raised about the funds she collected—where are they now, and will she ever be held accountable for any oversight in this matter?

“There can be only one!”

and fake America is not the one…..

Now it’s down to “2 Karens and a Mayor”

Choose wisely……

Lewis County Democrats’ Involvement

The Lewis County Democrats have demonstrated their support for Lunsford through community events. For example, their “Pancakes & Progress” breakfast event featured America Lunsford as a special guest speaker, alongside other local progressive candidates.
This event aimed to energize local activism, build connections among neighbors, and prepare for protests supporting socialists values.
The Lewis County Democrats emphasize grassroots organizing, candidate recruitment, and the promotion of progressive policies that align with Lunsford’s mission of DEI policies.

Remember, ActBlue is currently under investigation by the DOJ for potential criminal charges related to fraudulent donations, further exposing the Democrats’ alleged fraud campaign.

So where have her funds gone?

She has been supported by the Democrats and ActBlue all this time.

What does a Non-Partisan candidate mean except someone "Riding the fence"

The concept of using non-partisan ballots is based on the belief that voters should evaluate candidates based on their individual qualifications, policy proposals, and character rather than their party alignment. What if the person has no clue what they are doing?  That describes this race….

Another word for a independent in this context is, “Cowards of The County”

None of the candidates seem to have any solutions, unless you’re downtown in their circle, or clique, paying tribute to the “NO Business egg spirit” that has ruled this small rural village for over 80 years.

Current Political Climate in the City of Winlock:

The 2024 mayoral race featured Democratic-aligned candidates (e.g., “America Lundsford”) backed by ActBlue, while the Lewis County Republican Party did not field a candidate, leaving independents to compete for perceived power.
.
Winlock’s political landscape has been anything but positive since Mayor Don Bradshaw’s departure, with controversies surrounding interim leadership (e.g., Brandon Svenson’s alleged misconduct) creating a power vacuum filled by Democratic efforts ie: the socialists/communist lundford on the ticket.
.
The Lewis County Chair (Republican), who also served as Winlock’s mayor, has now registered as an independent. Currently, we have three Karens and a mayor squabbling over perceived power, but the truth is, the only real influence in this city comes from council members like Jody Curtis and her annual Egg Day Parade. Ultimately, the only thing that will shape Winlock, Washington, next year and beyond is the Egg Day Parade.

No candidate speaks about how this city will prosper beyond their egg parade…

No Business will turn this rural community into a NW Ghost town attraction where even the “Haunted Hotel” has been taken down… Unless you are a member of the Egg Day cult and friends with the local usual suspects here who are throwing mud on everything they despise, you are shunned and despised by everyone …

All candidates have decided to run as an independent with no backing at all in other words, a“Coward”
.

Meet The Karens  …….

Does it really matter where you live if you’re the only one asking questions?

It seems it does if you are only speaking to a small handful of “your people”

An “opaque” candidate believes the answer is yes. I speak of candidate for mayor  Victoria Marincin..

There are over 2,500 people who live in the city who could speak up and ask questions about these candidates, yet they’re just scrolling through social media, waiting for someone to ask the tough questions so we will.

They’re too afraid to voice because of local in fighting .. Meanwhile, their is a local news editor who is lurking in the shadows, ready to jump on anyone who dares to speak everyone knows that.

A candidate who only answers questions privately, embodies the very definition of an “opaque” candidate, often referred to as a “ghost candidate.”

This term describes a candidate who avoids public interaction and communication, which can lead to a lack of transparency and understanding of their true intentions or positions People seem to forget the value of tourism.

Winlock can’t remain just a bedroom community forever, surviving on nothing more than a parade. People have tough questions, and no one can answer them…

Jobs Protected…This is what the Lewis County Republican Party offers—but what does an individual contribute? Not a single candidate has mentioned capitalism or its potential impact on Winlock and the surrounding communities. Lawsuit not withstanding, for what? so the trees could be planted. The city loses its future because of those who signed that petition and pushed it through—the same ones who have been hindering growth in Winlock while praising a defunct egg business. When someone like you buys a business and then runs for mayor to protect that business, that’s what they call non-partisan? Not one candidate has discussed what the future could look like for rural Winlock beyond the Egg Day events and the social media activities of local non-profits. Non-profits outnumber for-profit businesses in Washington State, 1 nonprofit for every 140 individuals. The same old strategies won’t work in this “New America,” where millions are leaving the country. You know who they are—those illegals that non-profits worked so hard to support while they sent billions of untaxed monies back to their own countries. The topic of capitalism is being ignored because no one seems capable of addressing it without proper backing, and I don’t mean the commissioners—that’s a whole other game of political maneuvering. The community can benefit, and it starts with the heavy traffic on I-5, Exit 63, and State Route 505. These passing cars could either make or break this city, especially without a solid business structure. Meanwhile, Winlock seems more focused on planting trees and hosting an egg day parade, while billions of dollars are just waiting along I-5. Standing alone as non-partisan is simply sitting on the fence so “everyone can have a seat at the table.” Whoever said that, they’re the one who will be mayor of the city of Winlock Thats the definition of Non-Partisan Victoria Marincin for Mayor of Winlock

You just can’t make this up in this rural part of hell….

Cowards are easy to find in this city

-all are running as mayor or council members-

There are no good men as leaders since Don Bradshaw who was mayor of Winlock, who Resigned Citing Health, ‘Atmosphere of Hate,’ Following No-Confidence Vote…

I was in his office daily, the hate came at him non stop. The local rag editor Lynette Hoffman, evil incarnate, pushed everyone to take him down that’s how Branndon was voted in after she approached me to help take him down….I have text messages from her still about this.. she worked Svenson, now wants him gone and the idiot Karen socialist installed …

It’s about to get real …
