WA DOGE has revealed Democratic Sen Jaime (Pedo) Pedersen, who believes parents should have no rights after a child turns 13, is the Exec VP & General Counsel at McKinstry, an energy company that got $2,450,670 from WA taxpayers in the 23-25 biennium.
Senate Ethics Rules Senate Rule XXXVII (Conflict of Interest): Senators are prohibited from engaging in activities that create a conflict of interest or the appearance of a conflict. Serving as an EVP and general counsel for an energy company, especially one receiving federal funds, would likely violate this rule.
